Leon County, FL – Mark S. Earley, Supervisor of Elections for Leon County, announces the swearing-in ceremony for new members of the Leon County Soil and Water Conservation Commission.
“My office is happy to assist the Soil and Water Conservation Commission by hosting the swearing-in ceremony for the new commissioners,” said Supervisor Earley.
In the 2024 General Election, Kim O’Connor was elected unopposed to Seat Two on the Leon County Soil and Water Conservation Commission. The Commission has also appointed Laura LaChappelle to fill a vacancy in Seat One, and Deborah Burr to fill a vacancy in Seat Three.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14. It will be held at the Ion V. Sancho Leon County Elections Center, located at 2990-1 Apalachee Parkway. Members of the public are welcome to attend the ceremony.
