About the Office

Each Florida county has a Supervisor of Elections who manages elections in the county. The Supervisor oversees a staff of trained, professional employees who conduct elections. The Supervisor is elected to a four-year term during the presidential election cycle.

Mission

Our mission is to provide outstanding voter services and accessible elections in Leon County with integrity, transparency, and accuracy.

Official Duties

The official duties of our office include:

  • Registering voters
  • Conducting federal, state, and local elections
  • Upholding the elections laws of the state of Florida
  • Securely storing voter registration files, ballots, and election equipment
  • Administering the provisions of campaign finance reporting laws
  • Processing petitions for candidates and issues
  • Providing public education and information about elections
