Leon County Supervisor of Elections Encourages Voters to Get Election Ready for 2026
Leon County, FL – Mark S. Earley, Supervisor of Elections for Leon County, encourages voters to get election ready for the 2026 Primary and General Elections. “As we approach the start of voting in the Primary, I want to make sure every eligible voter has the key information they need to participate in our elections," said Supervisor Earley. "This week my office is mailing out over 120,000 Election Ready postcards, one to every residential address in Leon County. I encourage voters to get Election Ready now by registering and checking their information."
By sending a postcard to every residential address in the county, the Elections Office can directly contact both registered voters and eligible residents who are not yet registered to vote. The postcard encourages Leon County voters to get Election Ready by registering to vote or checking that their registration is up to date. Voters who wish to vote-by-mail in the Primary or General Election are encouraged to request their mail ballot now.

In addition to the postcards, the Elections Office is also reaching out to voters by email. This email outreach provides another opportunity to provide voters with the key information they need to get Election Ready in 2026.
The Elections Office has created a dedicated webpage with key voter resources for the upcoming Primary Election. The page is located at LeonVotes.gov/ElectionReady. The Elections Office will continue to update the page with additional resources, such as sample ballots, as they become available.
In order to cast a ballot in an election, voters must be registered to vote in Florida by the voter registration deadline. Additionally, if a voter wishes to change their party affiliation before the Primary Election, the change must be made by the deadline. Voters are encouraged to register or update their record as soon as possible. Voters who have moved since last voting should check and update their address to ensure they will receive the correct precinct assignment and ballot.
