Online Voter Registration (OVR) is designed to:
- Verify Credentials (i.e. eligibility, Driver's License/State ID, Social Security Number and issue Date)
- Obtain the most recent signature from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
Once the record has been validated: The record will be sent electronically to the Supervisor of Elections Office where the voter should be registered.
If the record cannot be validated: The voter will be required to print the application through the OVR interface and mail it to the Supervisor of Elections Office where the voter should be registered.
For residents of Leon County, please mail printed applications to:
Leon County Supervisor of Elections
P.O. Box 7357
Tallahassee, FL. 32314
Voter Registration Books close 29 days before an election. It is recommended to submit the application as early as possible before that date to ensure the application is processed properly.
It is important for voters to keep their signature updated with the Supervisor of Elections Office. If your signature has changed, please print the application, sign it with your new signature, and mail the completed application to the Supervisor of Elections Office.
Signature Updates must be completed no later than the convening of the County Canvassing Board prior to an election.
